Wall says Saskatchewan economy diversifying

SASKATOON – Saskatchewan’s premier is crediting growth in the agricultural, trade and manufacturing sectors for the province’s latest job numbers.

The latest monthly figures from Statistics Canada show Saskatchewan had the lowest unemployment rate at four per cent.

Posting on Twitter, Brad Wall says the figures show the province’s economy is more diversified.

He says the employment rate for First Nations and Metis is improving, but there is still more work to do.
