York Regional Police say one person is dead and another is in critical condition after a crash in Richmond Hill Monday morning.
Emergency crews were called to Highway 7, just west of Yonge Street, shortly after 7 a.m.
Police said a truck, a Mazda 6 and a Nissan sedan were involved in a crash.
The female driver of the Nissan was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died, police said.
The driver of the Mazda was also taken to hospital and as of Monday afternoon, was reported to be in critical condition.
There is no word on what may have led to the crash.
