CALGARY – Calgary Police have laid charges in connection with a nine-year-old murder.
On Friday, police released surveillance video taken three days after 23-year-old Shane Johnson was stabbed to death near NYLA nightclub on 1st Street S.W., back in 2004.

The video shows a man at the Greyhound bus station buying a ticket to Vancouver.
Police say the release of that video prompted new tips from the public and led to an arrest at a southwest McDonald’s restaurant on Saturday.

33-year-old Yousuf Bikila is now charged with first-degree murder.
