The National Football League announced its 2009 schedule Tuesday night and the Rogers Centre will stage a Thursday night game on Dec. 3 between the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets.
It will be the Bills’ second prime-time appearance of the season. The game will be telecast as part of the NFL Network late-season package, which is usually rebroadcast in Canada on TSN.
The Bills open the season at New England on Monday Night Football on Sept. 14. The home opener at Ralph Wilson Stadium in six days later on Sept. 20 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
