Ravikovich was found dead at the home daycare on July 8 on Yellowood Circle in Vaughan.

After the girl was removed from the daycare, it was temporarily shut down for failing to meet several health and safety regulations.

The cause of death is still being investigated.

The fundraising campaign was set up by Toronto Mommies, a woman’s-only support group for mothers in Toronto.

The campaign has been set up on gogetfunding.com, a crowd funding website similar to Indiegogo.com or kickstarter.com, and aims to raise $10,000. As of 1 p.m. on Thursday, $2,231 had been raised.
