TORONTO – Price conscious Greater Toronto Area consumers will have a brand new location to spend their cash with the grand opening Thursday of a highly anticipated outlet store centre in Halton Hills.
Toronto Premium Outlets will house some of North America’s big name designers and leading brands with savings of 25 to 65 per cent off.
“A lot of people know about the Premium Outlets brand because they go to the United States and shop with us there,” said Toronto Premium Outlets general manager Megan Johnson in an interview with Global News.
“This is the first Canadian format and this offers the best collections of retail and we are talking about fantastic brands, it’s about fashion, it’s about style,” she said.
Among the names include a Hudson’s Bay Outlet, Banana Republic, J. Crew, Michael Kors and Ted Baker London.
The outlet complex is located at 13850 Steeles Avenue West which is accessible off Highway 401 at the Trafalgar Road interchange in Halton Hills.
The shopping centre is expected to provide more than 800 full and part time jobs.
