Jeff was born in Edmonton and raised in Drayton Valley. Jeff is thrilled to return to central Alberta after spending the majority of his broadcast career in southern Alberta. After toiling in the oil patch for a couple years, Jeff decided to put his 'big mouth' to use and graduated from Lethbridge College with a diploma in Broadcast Journalism in 2000. Jeff returned to DV and joined the Big West Country 92.9 fm morning show. Jeff moved on to Medicine Hat in 2001. After working in radio for both MY 96 fm and 1270 CHAT am, Jeff became the Sports Anchor/Producer with CHAT 6 and 3 Television. During his time in the 'Hat, Jeff was a 2-time RTNDA Award Winner with CHAT Television. He served as the Color Commentator for Medicine Hat Tigers broadcasts. His job took him to the 2004 Memorial Cup in Kelowna. He's also reported on the Continental Cup of Curling in 2004 and 2007.

He loves this job because it has given him the opportunity to meet some very interesting people. During his career, Jeff has interviewed Sidney Crosby, Grant Fuhr, Herb Brooks, Randy Ferbey, Prince Fielder, Ross Rebagliatti, Hayley Wickenhiser, George Chuvalo and former Prime Minister Paul Martin to name a few.
