Bill Coulter brings 10 years of local and national broadcast experience to his role of Weather Anchor on Global Weekend News.
Endorsed by the Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society, Bill honed his skills while presenting news and weather for The Weather Network and Toronto1 (now SunTV) before joining Global in 2004.
While weather is his passion, Bill has a wide array of interests and accomplishments in Canadian media. He has won awards for his work as lifestyle host on the local history and architecture program, "Structures". And for six consecutive years, Bill broadcast live from the red carpet as entertainment host during the Toronto International Film Festival. Bill also specialized in script writing, seeing his first professional children’s television script brought to the small screen when he was just 25. He continues to enjoy crafting scripts and stories for features like "Coulter’s Escapes" produced for Global News.
Off-camera, you might find Bill exploring foreign travel destinations, kayaking and skiing in Central Ontario or using his singing voice to collaborate with local performers. Bill is thrilled to be spending his weekends with you as part of the Weekend News team.
