Nathan Downer’s talent and charisma has created a buzz in the broadcast industry. With more than 1,000 television and radio interviews to his credit, Nathan has established a solid career as a host, producer, writer, reporter, editor and commentator.
Nathan currently works as a general assignment reporter for Global Television in Toronto. He files breaking news and feature stories.
Before joining Global Television, Nathan hosted and produced SportsRap with Nathan Downer and the Kenny and Nate Show on Flow 93.5 FM radio. Two distinct and interactive talk shows that looked at the news and sports headlines, and offered analysis and opinions.

He was also the news director and morning anchor at Flow 93.5 FM radio where he produced, wrote and read the news, weather and sports ge weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Nathan also worked as a sideline reporter covering University Basketball for Rogers Television. He gave live updates and well as half-time interviews and reports.
Nathan began his career as co-host and producer of the CHIN Radio/T.V. weekly talk show, Insight, a 90-minute mix of celebrity interviews and in-depth profiles of newsmakers in the community as well as the international arena.
Personable, versatile with a great sense of humour, Nathan hosts many special events and is also in demand for voice-overs and public speaking engagements. He also writes for a few local magazines.
Nathan attended the University of Toronto, George Brown College and has also trained in voice and television broadcasting with Sears & Switzer in Toronto.
