After spending a few years
away from home, Nancy is happy to be back in Alberta.

A graduate from the University of Alberta with a BA in Comparative
Literature, Nancy spent her spare time volunteering at a local television
station. Loving the fast-paced environment, she knew it was her calling and
headed back to school.

In 2007, Nancy
graduated from the University
of Regina
with a Bachelor
of Journalism. “I had never been to Regina
before, but decided to take a chance and loved it!” Nancy
also spent a semester at CBC in Winnipeg,
and her summers at Global Edmonton.

“I can’t believe this
is my job. I’ve flown a plane, interviewed Bobby Orr…I don’t know what
tomorrow will hold. It’s amazing.”

Nancy also leads an active lifestyle and if you’re up
early enough, you might catch her running around the track or swimming laps.
She also visits her family back in Edmonton
as often as she can.
