Impaired driving charge laid in north Edmonton collision

EDMONTON- One person has been charged with a number of offences, including impaired driving causing bodily harm, after a collision in north Edmonton Friday evening.

Five people were sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, after a collision in the area of 82nd Street and 115th Avenue.

Four vehicles were involved in the collision. All four vehicles suffered quite a bit of damage, and one vehicle nearly ended up in someone’s yard.

The area was blocked off to traffic for several hours Friday evening.

One driver has since been charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm, dangerous driving, and child endangerment offences.
