Wellington County OPP say a body was found on a road just outside of Guelph on Tuesday evening.
Emergency crews were called to Watson Parkway near Wellington Road 124 at around 7:15 p.m. after someone found the body of a male on the road.
OPP said their crime unit and forensic team were also called to the scene. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday in Toronto.
Watson Parkway was closed from Speedvale Avenue to Wellington Road 124 as of Wednesday afternoon and motorists were being asked to avoid the area.

Police didn’t provide any other details, saying the investigation is in its preliminary stages. But in their news release OPP wanted to remind the public to always be aware of their surroundings and personal safety.
