RCMP have closed most of Highway 60 following a three-vehicle collision at Highway 16A, about five kilometres west of Edmonton.
The collision occurred between the off ramps of Highway 16A. One person was taken by air ambulance to hospital. Two others were transported to hospital by ground ambulance.
The road will be closed for at least four hours as police investigate the crash. Northbound and southbound traffic on Highway 60 will be routed west. RCMP are asking drivers to avoid the area.
