According to Kelowna RCMP, emergency crews responded to a report of an RV on fire and an injured man in the Joe Rich area of Greystokes Forest Service Road and Foolhen Forest Service Road.

Global News was told that three campers were assaulted, with one camper getting cut, and the assailants fleeing.

Several police vehicles, three fire trucks and a couple of ambulances were at the scene.

The camper was alleged to have been set on fire, and that it went out on its own.

Further, two of the victims that fled the scene were discovered by a passerby, and that the assailants were gone by the time police arrived.

Police have closed off access to part of Three Forks Road, which is used to access Greystokes Forest Service Road. It’s believed the incident is past the snowmobile club.
