Shortly before noon on Tuesday, members of the Vernon Search and Rescue unit discovered a body on the Shuswap river.
Search and Rescue members were conducting a search for a missing rafter.
Searchers located the body, entangled in a logjam three kilometers down river from the Ashton Creek bridge.
RCMP and the Coroners Department where called to area.
It is too early to determine if it the body is that of a young Salmon Arm resident who went missing June 28th, while rafting with a friend on the Shuswap River.
