DARTMOUTH, N.S. — Halifax police arrested and charged two young men after an HRP cruiser was robbed early Thursday morning.
The officer driving the car was investigating another call and was parked on Galaxy Dr. When he returned to the car, it was damaged and a briefcase was stolen.

Several police and RCMP were called in to find the suspects and two men, aged 22 and 19, were arrested within 30 minutes. With the help of police dogs, the missing briefcase was also found.
The suspects will be in Dartmouth court Friday morning to face charges of theft, possession of stolen property and property damage.
