SASKATOON – Central Saskatchewan, including Saskatoon, and northern parts of the province are currently under a severe thunderstorm watch.
Environment Canada says a low pressure system northwest of Prince Albert will push a cold front across the west of the province, triggering scattered thunderstorms.
Some of those storms may become severe with large hail and damaging winds.
Thunderstorms are also expected to develop over eastern Saskatchewan ahead of the low pressure system later this afternoon and into the evening.
