FOOTBALL FOLLIES

Tough day for Rider fans, after seeing John Chick head South to play with the Colts of the NFL, which is fine with me because I'm a Colts fan, but today, oh man it continues. Stevie Baggs, the man's number WAS going on my jersey this year, is gone South as well. To the Arizona Cardinals. What player doesn't want to follow his dream of playing in the NFL, but the year after year of losing our key impact players is getting frustrating or maybe more disappointing. Now the Riders have always done a great job of scouting talent and filling those voids, but it'd be nice to see most of the Riders best players stay for a few years at least. The Baggs signing isn't the only thing that hurts this week, Paul LaPolice is heading to Winterpeg, really??! The Bombers, awww Paul you cut me deep. HE may not make the right call everytime but I enjoyed watching the offense play better under LaPolice. Hopefully this year gets better the closer we get to the season and I have faith in the players that are here and will stay here that'll the Riders will still be top 2 in the West, it's just tough to see the band break up is all. But the sun will still come up tomorrow, we'll still question every signing, every move, every play, every QB, but that's what makes us the best fans in the league……we love the game, we know the game and we have opinions!
