According to a union that represents thousands of Alberta’s health care employees, dozens of patients from Alberta Hospital will be transferred to other Edmonton hospitals. The Health and Sciences Association of Alberta claims that Alberta Health Services plans to move 80 patients from the psychiatric hospital to secure and non-secure beds, 10 at the University Hospital and the rest going to either the Royal Alec or the Grey Nuns.
