Motorists heading south may want to top up their gas tanks before leaving town. Some stations in Claresholm, Alberta have been without gas since Sunday night, while others hit empty on Monday.
Attendants at the Mac’s Esso station say the fuel supply trucks just aren’t showing up and they aren’t sure why.
It’s a similar scene at Shell and Petro Canada. Fortunately, not everyone in town is out of fuel; UFA was booming today because it was the only service station with a full supply.
Imperial Oil says the shortage is most likely due to a transportation issue.
