Fire crews are investigating a blaze at an automotive shop in the City’s southeast. They were called out to the building on Hastings Crescent southeast around 8:30p.m. Tuesday night and were able to knock down the blaze quickly.
Officials say the fire started in a motor home inside the shop and spread to the building’s roof.
It is it the second time the fire department has been called to the same building within a week’s time.
“The exact same motor home and the exact same building last week as a matter of act were involved in a fire. Whether they are related I can’t really say. It could be one of those very bizarre coincidences, but our investigators are here and they’ll figure it out” says Ernie Molineaux, Battalion Chief.
No word yet on the cost of damages.
