A Global News viewer has pointed out some new ads along Skytrain’s Canada Line in Vancouver that he thinks have violent overtones.

Judge for yourself.

The ads are for the Vancouver Gun Range and they show several targets with pictures of things that might annoy you, like parking meters.

They suggest that blasting away at such annoyances might be a good way to let off steam — asking the question “what will you set your sights on?”

They are definitely provocative, but apparently not in contravention of Translink’s advertising policy, which allows the company to exercise its sole discretion in matters of taste.
