Environment Canada had issued a tornado warning for Lotbiniere, Quebec, southwest of Quebec City on Monday evening.
A tornado had been reported near Villeroy, moving southeast at 50 km/h.

Residents in the area had been advised to take cover immediately.
At 6:20 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada dropped the warning, as the storm had moved out of the area.
