Rexall Place played host to some special cowboys and cowgirls on Thursday morning for another year of ‘Rodeo Magic’. 150 special needs children had the chance to take part in their own mini rodeo in the official CFR ring and learn some new skills from the professionals.
Many of the athletes say the yearly event is a highlight of the CFR. "It’s a little time out of our lives to make a big moment and impression in theirs." says bull rider Tyler Thomson. "It’s a great day for all the kids as you can tell, looking around here and seeing all the smiles on their faces."
