Nova Scotia’s Utility and Review Board has granted Halifax Water a rate increase. The utility said it needed the extra cash to help pay for a crumbling infrastructure, but those opposed say many users can’t afford the increase. At 6:45, we’ll talk to the Chief Financial Officer of Halifax Water, Cathie O’Toole, about the decision.
