MEDICINE HAT, AB – A 31-year-old Alberta woman was killed in a crash east of Medicine Hat Thursday night.
The incident happened on the Trans-Canada Highway just east of Range Road 34.
Police say her westbound SUV was in the eastbound lanes when it collided with a semi-truck.
The victim’s name has not been released.
The two people inside the semi, both from Coquitlam, B.C., were treated for minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation but alcohol was not a factor.
