Sports stars come out for Joe Carter Classic

TORONTO — After a day of playing in the Joe Carter Classic golf tournament, star athletes and VIPs let loose inside a ballroom at the Shangri-la Hotel Tuesday night.

The official after-party, hosted by Farley Flex, featured performances by ’90s hip hop act Naughty By Nature and “Bust a Move” rapper Young MC.

For hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, it was a family affair. The Great One brought sons Ty and Tristan to the party.  Other guests included NBA star Cliff Levingston, CFL great Damon Allen, Montreal Canadiens player P.K. Subban and rapper Kardinall Offishall.

The 4th annual Joe Carter Classic, held at Eagles Nest Golf Club in Maple, benefitted the Children’s Aid Foundation. Players included actor Kiefer Sutherland.
