- The courthouses in Bridgewater, Port Hawkesbury, Antigonish & Pictou are delaying opening until 10 a.m.
- Provincial government offices will delay their opening until 12 p.m. except for Digby, Yarmouth, Queens and Shelburne counties which are open.
- The Avalon Centre is closed.
- Sackville Area Warming Centre will be open for its regular hours.
- Canada Game Centre delaying opening until 10 a.m.
- The Canadian Museum of Immigration will be delaying its opening until 1 p.m.
- The Maritime Museum is delaying its opening until 11 a.m.
- The Needham pool, Captain Spry wave pool, and Sackville Sports Stadium pool are closed.
- The Museum of Natural History will be delaying its opening until 11:00 a.m.
- All of Halifax Public Libraries branches are closed.
- Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia (ISANS) is closed.
