REGINA – The Saskatoon Valkyries were victorious Saturday afternoon to secure their third consecutive Western Women’s Canadian Football League (WWCFL) championship.
The Valkyries took out the Regina Riot in the Prairie Conference final last weekend to earn their spot in the final.

At Mosaic Stadium yesterday, there was a rematch of last year’s league final, the Valkyries against the undefeated Lethbridge Steel.
The Valkyries ended up winning 27-13.
