WINNIPEG – More than 27,000 people will flock to the Bombers new home Wednesday night for the team’s first exhibition game.
And the Bombers parking and transportation plan will be put to the test.
If you’re driving, there are still spots available across from Investors Group Field at $210 for the season. You can’t arrive until 90 minutes before the game.
There’s no parking on most residential streets around the stadium.
Two nearby businesses, Corpell’s Water and Prairie Chiropractic, along Pembina highway have hired Vinci Parking to fill their parking lots. Vinci will be charging $15 per game or you can buy a season pass for $150.
The following businesses are only charging $10 per game.
• Area Nightclub/Canad Inns Pembina – 1792 Pembina Highway
• Empty Lot – 1855 Pembina Highway
• Giant Tiger – 2195 Pembina Highway
• Grace’s Christian Church – 50 Barnes Street
• Manitoba Public Insurance – 15 Barnes Street
• Markham Professional Centre – 2265 Pembina Highway
• Safeway – 2155 Pembina Highway
• Shapes Lot – 1910 Pembina Highway
• The Ranch Saloon – 1931 Pembina Highway

Safeway has 110 parking spots and Manitoba Harvest volunteers will be taking money with all proceeds going directly to the organization.
Southside Autobody at the corner of Bison Drive and Pembina Highway is selling parking for $10 a game or $75 for the season. They have about 20 spots.
There are shuttles stopping along Pembina to take people into the Stadium or it’ll take about 15-20 minutes to walk depending where you park.
If you’re taking the bus, there are seven locations around the city where you can park and ride:
• Assiniboia Downs – 3975 Portage Avenue
• Club Regent Casino – 1425 Regent Avenue West
• Garden City Shopping Centre – 2305 McPhillips Street
• Kildonan Place Shopping Centre – 1555 Regent Avenue West
• Manitoba Hydro – 820 Taylor Avenue
• McPhillips Station Casino – 485 McPhillips Street
• St. Vital Shopping Centre – 1225 St. Mary’s Road
You’ll get dropped off right in front of the stadium and its free with a game ticket. At the end of the game, the same bus will return you to your vehicle.
Buses will run every 10 minutes starting 90 minutes before the game.
If you’re biking, there’s 400 bike valet spots at the stadium available for free.
