A CF-18 fighter jet has crashed at an airport in Lethbridge, Alta.
The pilot of the aircraft was the only one injured, but his injuries are not believed to be serious.
Witnesses say he pulled his parachute and ejected before the plane crashed at the Lethbridge County Airport.
An air show was to begin at the airport Saturday.
Lethbridge is about 200 kilometres southeast of Calgary.
Canada has lost 16 CF-18s, incurring eight pilot deaths as of 4 April 2009.
