Trailer fire snuffed out

KELOWNA — Crews made quick work of a storage trailer fire in Kelowna Friday afternoon.

They were called to the Maple Reiners storage facility on the 400 block of Lougheed around 4 p.m.

Flames could be seen shooting through the roof of the trailer when crews arrived.

The trailer, which was gutted by the flames, did not contain any explosive materials and was gutted.

There was no noticeable damage to any nearby trailers.

The fire forced the temporary closure of Lougheed Road.
