Police scouring North End after reports of shooting

Winnipeg police are investigating following a report of multiple shots fired in the North End early Friday morning.

Police say at around 5 a.m. multiple shots were heard in the area of McGregor Street and College Avenue.

About half-an-hour later, one man could be seen being taken into the back of a police car.

Residents tell Global News they were woken up by the sound of gunfire.

At 7:00 a.m., police were still on scene.
