Chilliwack RCMP say the body of a senior has been found nearly a week after he was reported missing.
Police say 79-year-old John Pop was found Saturday, but aren’t saying where his body was found.
RCMP say the cause of Pop’s death is not considered suspicious. The BC Coroners Service is investigating but are not releasing any information at this time.
Pop was last seen around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, in the area of his home on Teskey Road near Tournier Place in Chilliwack.

At that time, police said Pop had dementia and did not speak English. He also had trouble speaking his native Romanian due to medical issues.
