Provincial police say one man was killed in a fatal crash on Highway 6 just south of Hamilton Airport on Friday morning.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said one vehicle drifted across the centre lane causing the head-on collision.

He says that the driver of the other vehicle has been taken to hospital with “significant injuries.”
Schmidt said there were no passengers in either vehicle.
The collision has closed the highway in Mount Hope between Chippewa Rd. W. and Leeming Road.

Schmidt says the OPP’s collision reconstruction team is on scene investigating the crash.
“The highway and scene will remain closed for several hours while they conduct their investigation,” he said.
Schmidt is asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact the Burlington OPP.
