Nova Scotia got drenched by more heavy rainfall over the weekend leading to flooding in parts of Colchester and Pictou counties. The torrent of rain washed out a culvert on West River Station Road, in Pictou County. Road crews were hard at work trying to deal with the pit that opened up across a wide section of the route, about halfway between Truro and New Glasgow.
