Peel police searching for 4 suspects after shots fired in Brampton

Peel Regional Police say they are looking for four suspects after a man was injured in Brampton late Monday night.

Emergency crews were called to Glidden Road and Rutherford Road for reports of shots fired just before 11:30 p.m.

Police said the victim, a man, was not shot but did sustain non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.

Four men described as between 20 and 30 years old wearing dark clothing at the time of the shooting fled the scene in a white sedan, police said.

Investigators said the Central Robbery Unit is continuing the investigation.

Police are asking witnesses or anyone with information to contact investigators at 905-453-3311 ext. 2233 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
