Gallery: Flood damaged Perth-Andover church demolished

A 107 year old church is the latest casualty of the flood that hit Perth-Andover, N.B. earlier this year. The Baptist church was damaged beyond repair when the St. John River spilled its banks March 23, one of the worst floods in 25 years.  Several homes and businesses, including the offices of the town’s largest employer, were destroyed when a rapid snow melt and ice jam caused the river to overflow.
