A 27-year-old motorcyclist is dead after colliding with an SUV on the Lions Gate Bridge this afternoon.
Police say the man died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of the family.
The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
The Lions Gate Bridge remains closed to vehicle and bus traffic. Pedestrians and cyclists are being allowed across the bridge.
