Both lanes of Highway 33 just west of Adolphustown Ont., closed around 6 p.m. Tuesday following a fatal collision, according to the OPP.
The OPP set up a roadblock on Highway 33 from County Road 8 to around the Glenora Ferry Dock, which also closed the ferry service. The highway was reopened around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
A vehicle was seen off the road with a yellow tarp draped over it.
OPP say the driver was 75 years old, but refused to release any more information about the deceased at this time.
