Robert Cushman On Television: This is the twentieth year of The Simpsons so some celebration is called for, something perhaps on the order of the recent multi-part epic commemorating Monty Python. What we actually get is The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special: In 3-D! On Ice!, a mingy single program, whose “executive producer, writer and director” Morgan Spurlock is also its presenter, and who strolls through it in the apparent belief that it’s about him.
