Fatal incident involving ATV operator in rural Sask.

SASKATOON – RCMP are investigating after an ATV operator was found unconscious in standing water on Monday.

Around 7:25 p.m., emergency services were called to an 86-year-old male who was located unconscious.

He was found in standing water on a farm access road in the RM of Grant, east of Saskatoon.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

RCMP say the man had been driving his ATV a short time earlier.

The victim’s name is not being released at this time.
