Cedars CanSupport Program
We meet Gwen Andrews Nacos, Director and Founder of the Cedars CanSupport Program for the MUHC. Gwen explains her commitment to CanSupport which provides psychological, emotional, spiritual and financial support to cancer patients and their families. The program’s biggest fundraiser “The Dragon Boat Race and Festival” has raised more than $2.8 Million for the program in 7 years, and Gwen explains how you can get involved in this year’s 8th edition. More information at www.cedars.ca.

Chair Aware Challenge President’s Cup Basketball Tournament
We get Chair Aware with the Director of Montreal’s Action Centre Andrew Lindsay. The Day Centre in Lasalle provides much-needed support and a sense of community to people with severe physical, and mild cognitive disabilities. This weekend marks the fourth edition of the centre’s “Chair Aware Challenge President’s Cup Basketball Tournament” at LCC. More information at www.centreaction.org.

Jonas and Massive Attraction
Jonas and the Massive Attraction’s Jonas Tomalty and Corey Diabo join us in studio for an interview, and then an acoustic set featuring a song from the band’s new album “Live out Loud.” This is the second album for the band, the fourth for Montreal’s favourite son, Jonas, who tells us all about the upcoming tour and the challenges and rewards of producing the band’s albums under their own record label “Big Slice Records.”
