18-month-old girl reported missing in Saskatoon located in Edmonton

Saskatoon police say a missing 18-month-old girl has been located in Edmonton.

The baby was last seen leaving her mother’s home with her 36-year-old father on Thursday afternoon, police said.

Their whereabouts were unknown and an Amber Alert was not issued.

“At this point in time, we do not believe there is any danger to the child,” police said Thursday night.

Police believed the man might have been on his way to Alberta, where he lives, or his home country of Mexico.

In a release Friday morning, Saskatoon police said both father and daughter were located safe in Edmonton.

No other details have been released by police at this time.
