Kelowna and Central Okanagan residents gathered in downtown Kelowna on Friday to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day alongside members of the Okanagan’s indigenous population.
Parts of the celebration included a mini pow-wow, children’s activities, a traditional feast and special programming at the Okanagan Heritage Museum.
