An employee at Brandt Engineered Products has died in a “work-related” incident on the morning of June 6, according to a statement from the company.
The employee was a machinist who had worked for Brandt for 28 years.
He passed away after sustaining “serious injuries” at the north-side manufacturing facility.
Brandt said the exact cause of the incident is not known and a joint investigation by both Brandt and Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety is underway.
