“Like all Calgarians, we are anxious to see spring in Calgary, and we know boaters are anxious to get out on the water,” said Doug Bruneau, supervisor of Aquatics & Fitness for the City of Calgary.  “We are monitoring the conditions throughout the day and will re-open as soon as the reservoir is safe for users.”

The reservoir was originally scheduled to open on May 1.
