REGINA – As you wake up on Tuesday morning there is another blast of snow that hit the ground in Regina late last night, into this morning, with more than 5 cm of snow expected to fall by Tuesday afternoon.

A snowfall warning for parts of southeastern Saskatchewan has been issued.

Environment Canada says you can expect to see 10-15 cm of snow in the Fort Qu’Appelle, Yorkton, Kamsack and Moosomin regions.

As a result of the heavy snow southern Saskatchewan is receiving, numerous highways are closed in the area, including Highway #11 from Regina to Lumsden and Highway #1 from Sintaluta to Jct Hwy 35

Before travelling today check the highway hotlines before heading out on the roads in your area.

The storm should eventually ease off later Tuesday evening as it tracks into northeastern Ontario.
