A 20-year-old West Kelowna man was taken to hospital after crashing his dirtbike Monday morning.
The single vehicle incident happened mid-morning on Hudson Road near Highway 97 where the man decided to take a shortcut but hit a rock — sending him tumbling to the ground.

The man’s father showed up at the scene where he said his son was on his way to work and that he can’t remember the crash after knocking his head.
Fortunately, the man was wearing a helmet.
The bike was not licensed and the man did not have a motorcycle licence.
He’s been ticketed by the RCMP for both offences.
