A man and a woman are facing charges after OPP in North Perth say someone was attacked with a stun gun and held against their will.
Just before midnight on April 11, police say a woman was trapped in the backseat of an automobile by two suspects and assaulted with a stun gun.
“The person was able to talk the male and the female into letting them out of the vehicle for a moment and when that happened, the person ran to the police station in Listowel,” said OPP Const. Barry Cookson, who noted the victim was able to provide a name and description to officers.

The suspects were tracked down and arrested after a foot chase west of Clinton, Ont., about 50 kilometres away.
“They were located a short time later by Huron County OPP and arrested,” Cookson said.

Nathan Chambers, 21, of Bluewater, has been charged with a variety of offences including assault with a weapon, uttering threats and forcible confinement.
Tracy Dolmage, 38, of North Perth, is also facing several charges, including assault with a weapon and forcible confinement.
Both appeared in court last week and police say the investigation continues.
